EBONY AMEEN

Ms. Ebony C. Ameen is the oldest of three children. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she came from a close-knit family and attended Birmingham City Schools, including Ramsay Alternative High School.


Ms. Ameen attended Vassar College ('98) in Poughkeepsie, New York, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Political Science.


She then attended and graduated from Emory University’s School of Law ('02) where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Ms. Ameen has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia, in good standing, since 2003, serving Georgia residents for almost 17 years. Her main practice areas are: Family Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense and Immigration. Ms. Ameen is well versed in transactional and litigation matters.


In her spare time, Ebony enjoys being a mother to her wonderful 13-year-old son, Tyler. She also looks forward to spending time with her family, exercising, travelling, attending soccer games with her son, hiking and walking her two big dogs, Mansa and Lucky. Ms. Ameen is a classical pianist since age 7. While at Vassar College, she was an avid pianist and often played in concert. Her favorite composers are Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninoff. She now plays at home in her spare time. She is a member of New Rising Star church in Birmingham.
